A professional ornithologist, keynote speaker, and environmental consultant, John C. Robinson holds a B.S. degree in Biology from Iowa State University. He has published six books about nature and birds and has also led professional birding and natural history tours to Tennessee, Arizona, Texas, and South Africa. Since 1984, John has led classroom instruction in the areas of science and information technology (database software) for adults, teenagers, and children. He has developed his own training manuals, tutorials, and homework exercises to ensure his students are learning and retaining the information in his courses. Since 1999, John has focused on providing classroom training and education for inner city and minority youth and young adults. This work has been delivered to a wide variety of schools around the country and features content from his book which helps introduce children to nature. Toyota and National Audubon have supported John's work in this area.
