I have been a research scientist in Columbia University for more than sixteen years, exploring surface physical and chemical properties after receiving Ph.D. in physics with laser spectroscopy. Since my research work is mainly in the interdisciplinary area of science I have broad scientific background in science and mathematics. I had taught math, chemistry, and physics in college as a T.A. While in Columbia I have also enjoyed teaching mathematics and physics to high school students.
Kwang has been a research scientist at Columbia for the better part of two decades, and is one of the foremost experts in applications of laser spectroscopy. He is brilliant but also patient and dedicated to his students.
