My passion for Economics and Math stems from the fact that we face them in our every day life, beyond geographical and language differences. I received my undergraduate degree in Economics with minors in Math and Journalism from Western Michigan University. After working for four years in the financial field, I completed a Master's degree in international development from University of California, Berkeley where I tutored for the Department of Economics for two years. When I am not working or reading, I love swimming, cooking and painting. I am also an amateur veena player (google 'the veena' and I guarantee it will blow your mind!).
